This sink cover proved to be quite an undertaking. I really wanted to reconstruct it since we tried to keep to the original plan as closely as possible. (You can see the original formica on the underneath side of the top)
Since the formica was damaged during removal, and to match it up with the now existing laminate, we re-skinned it with new laminate. Not perfection, but it looks pretty good. I thought it was a neat idea to give a bit more counterspace when the sink wasn't being used. This is one more original item in this "deluxe" model Bugg that I have yet to see in any other one.
